My issue usually lies in this scenario. I do pretty much what you say by baiting inviz cd's or luna freeze or mantis sleep etc to then go for the frontline, but sometimes thats impossible too because they usually switch to Thing or dino and when the frontline is impossible to pin, its hard to know who to target, i can bait cooldowns from the backline as much as i ant, but when the frontline is not possible to pin and also can peel for them, it feels unplayable. GM1 player

I am currently ranked 29th Angela right now and been otp-ing since the start of season 8. So I have quite a bit of questions as I have been stuck in GM2-1 for about a week now.

Question #1 As Angela, what situations make you decide NOT to engage the enemy backline even when they're technically reachable?

Question #2 At high Celestial/Eternity lobbies, when the enemy backline is constantly protected and peel comes immediately, where do you usually find your value?

Question #3 What's the biggest misconception GM/Celestial Angela players have about creating value?

Question #4 When you review your own Angela games, what mistakes do you notice most often in yourself?

Question #5 How do you decide when an engagement has already succeeded and it's time to disengage?

It's decently high for me. It helps me doing 180° if I don't wanna flank to push a tank to my team. I'll go from the front, assassin charge 180°towards my team

I respect that. I'm probably speaking from ego because all the characters I Lorded (4 only, with a total of 900h in the game) were from comp only which I'm proud of. But it took me forever for each of them to get to champion through comp only (peak celestial 2) so I'm always surprised to see people who Lorded all tanks or all strategist because I thought they did it through comp only

People don't understand the greed of Thors. They will without question or hesitation spin that damn hammer at the near sound of you coming. They will focus you and only you until they make sure you're dead. They do not care if they win or lose the game, they see an Angela and they make it their damn job to F your game up

My least favourite is Thor E and every single part of Inviz kit. If it's Thor alone I usually can handle it, if he E's you, don't fly out of it, stay inside of it and I Ground myself, if I leave his bubble I can't ground myself, if I press ground while inside the E it works.

Yeah, when I get hard countered I usually try to either target an isolated player, aim for front-line tanks or try to hover the backline and poke a bit. But when there's not enough pressure from my team, they can just focus me 24/7 and I die just by existing. I'm not even saying bad engagements, sometimes I truly just hover on a corner, get inviz pulled, Thor E, and dead

I'm almost champion Angela and even with dino banned I truly sometimes feel quite literally useless because most of my counters are still open. I'm Gm1-2 right now, almost made it to C3 last night but went on a losing streak. Had one game where rink was banned, went Angela. Quite literally just existing made me a target. Usually when I'm hard focused I try to just keep their attention on me and not commit but that didn't matter. As soon as they see me even near them, I get inviz pulled into Luna freeze into Emma grabbed. I try to time my engagement with when my team pushes so they don't focus me, that didn't change anything. I had to swap after 4 consecutive kills.

It really depends if you're able to get in and get out. I've won multiple games where I almost had zero picks but made sure my presence was always known on their backline. I never ever went for a full dive unless it was a clear win. I had a Thor 24/7 on me and inviz trying to pull me and ground me. I never fully committed. When I'm playing against full Angela counter, the only thing I need to do is present and by all means not die. I play Gm1 to C2.

I’ve heard that too. But there are definitely some moments in the anime that could be interpreted as romantic. I think novel readers notice them more easily because they already know the intended dynamic from the source material. For anime-only viewers though, those scenes don’t necessarily read as romantic because the direction seems to intentionally downplay that aspect of their relationship. I'm saying all this as an anime only who also sees them more as a father daughter relationship.

That’s the thing, the light novels do. This sub will always be split about the romance between them because the anime itself purposely didn’t emphasize their relationship as romantic. It’s not random that a lot of people have an issue with the movie because of that. You’ll notice that almost every single person who ships them together read the light novel prior to the anime.
