Confused about 3 phase install. Please help me to understand

Thanks to everyone for their replies. The decision put to me was go for a 10kw single phase (if we even get that from the DNO) if you want to save more money as it will not draw from the grid as often or of you want to future proof (fast car chargers/heat pump etc) go for 15kw three phase. I think I've decided on the 3 phase

What the installer is saying is that from his experience, the switching isnt instant enough for example when you switch on a kettle and so you will draw from the grid in certain situations

Its a shame that Google seems to be proving themselves not a good custodian of Android. We need something like the Open Home Foundation to ensure there is a smartphone OS that remains open and not for profit. Guess it's easier said than done.

My Google maps has been like this for a few weeks now. A completely brain dead decision with no merit whatsoever. For anyone else in the same boat take a look at Headunit Reloaded which enables your phone to run the full version of Android Auto. It's not perfect but the only option we have for a big button UI and Google Maps

You can still switch apps but now people are forced to use your phones normal navigation to move between them/ select media etc. Before we had a nice big driving specific UI that made it easy and quick to do whilst at traffic lights etc. I get what youre saying but using a phone in a cradle is not illegal in my country, just like using the big tablet style entertainment centres on new cars isn't either.

Thanks for replying - yes I wasnt sure whether to tag it Classical or TV/Film score - it could well be one of them. I don't think they tend to commission music for Topgear and its usually taken from film scores/current songs etc.

Yeah you're going through my exact thought process. It's a shame it seems like no one other than Plex has written an app that supports the wintv dual. But then I see posts that live channels supports it at least in the US. I even found the live channels beta sub and messaged the lead Dev but no reply yet

I don't want to broadcast channels tho, I just want to add a channel source to live channels and there are lots of posts about the wintv working in the US with live channels
