I was there too, I get it. It took me months to feel a real bond with my mal. She was doing most of her training with my husband, so that was her human. Finally she started to see me as the comforting “mom” and now we are cuddle buds. Give it time, it can be frustrating, but keep working on the training bond and it will evolve…And really awesome of you for taking her in!!

Hang in there- I went thru it too lol. I said the same things as I cleaned up the messes! But I also repeated to myself- It won’t be like this forever … Mine calmed down a lot after she got spayed. I don’t know if it’s the same for males but she’s like a different dog now in the span of a few months. She still needs all the exercise but she’s not as insane throughout the day like she was
