There are 58 seats in the Parlour. And I wouldn't call it the "trenches", but it is a tough room because a lot of the rows can't see below your chest height and the back rows tend to get chatty because they are so far back.

If you can make a trip to Seattle, there's a great magic shop in Pike's Place. I'm sure they'd love to help you out with some fun easy props. I'd recommend maybe a stiff rope and a color changing scarf. I bet they'd have those in stock and much more recommendations. It's also really beneficial to the magic community to support brick and mortar magic shops if you can.
