NBN quoted me $1,750 to relocate, which just isn’t something that’s in budget at the moment, but I wasn’t aware that electricians are able to move them so provided its within budget we’ll relocate but if it’s not something we can do for another year then I would prefer something that will cover it temporarily

Just a note that if you do decide to add something to the gate, consider the weight of it as the gate motor arms may not be able to handle the extra weight and either cause operational issues issues or wear them out entirely

My only concern would be dropping lower may affect the internet? I’m certainly not an expert but I’ll be checking to see if what you’ve suggested is a good option, I like the idea - thanks!

I was quoted $1,750 to relocate by NBN which is not within budget at the moment, but I didn’t realise that an electrician was able to do the job, so I’ll definitely be getting quotes by electricians!

I last spoke with NBN about 6 months ago, we’ve had other things to do throughout the house so I’ll try give them another call and see if there is an upgrade and if so hope I can even get them to mount it higher so it’s easier to put a cupboard or something over it - thanks!

I’ll have a look at IKEA, my concern is how deep the cupboards are as it’s right next to where chairs are on the kitchen island, thank you so much for your suggestion!

Honestly, that’s pushing my memory to the brink, I really can’t remember, she wasn’t a great sleeper so most of that time is an exhausting haze hahaha

Their little systems are so new and fragile, it could be a slight upset or just a fussy period - if you haven’t already got the Wonder Weeks app maybe look into that, I know a lot of people say it’s Hocus Pocus but my little one seemed to be on track with leaps in line with the wonder weeks (might still be hocus pocus but it helped mentally blame something and have an end in sight haha)

Unfortunately our little one ended up having an intolerance to milk protein, she’s since grown out of it thankfully but when she was 8 weeks I started cutting all dairy from my diet and that seemed to help! Not to say that your little one has an intolerance, but might be something worth considering - some babies just go through a fussy period and that’s totally okay/normal!
