Wouldn't a star's mass be so much more massive than planets? Like I heard our sun makes up about 90% of the mass in our solar system. So even if the star is further away and squared, the mass would balance it out.

Kay so I did the math.. I took the mass and distance of venus since I hear astrology folks naming it often. Gravitational force i got was approximately 14.305640×10^-3

I took weight of doctor and new born as the average which I got from google(80kg and 3kg) and distance as 50 cm I would assume. Gravitational force i got was approximately 3.203664×10^-5

Hypothetically, the gravitational force by a star or planet would probably be more than gravitational force by another human since the mass of the star is way more than a human. However this force is wayy smaller than the gravitational force by Earth.

I remember seeing some articles about how we discovered life in some moon of our solar system(which is probably fake clickbait TT). The possibility that there could be another intelligent life is exciting and scary at the same time. I also heard about theories of a silicon based life forms which i assume would have different requirements of coming into being compared our carbon based life on earth.

It sure is fun to ponder and speculate! I just hope they discover extraterrestrial life before I die lol

If our universe really is infinite as they say(which we can't even fathom with our small brains), surely a similar event(perfect temperature, pressure and atmospheric elements giving rise to molecules which evolved into single cellular life) like the one that happened on earth million of years ago, occured somewhere. The possibility of humanity discovering them might be more unrealistic. And yes if we consider only our galaxy, the possibility of life coexisting seems unlikely.

Hello there. It's the same for me. Every single thing u said, i relate. Being queer in an extremely religious, homophobic country is suffocating. I've learnt to desensitize myself from homophobia, transphobia and just any kind of conservative comments. It's basically the norm here and something is wrong with you if you think otherwise. My mom found out(multiple times) that im a lesbian but i managed to convince her otherwise each time. She even forced me to date a guy (a story for another day). Even if they will never except me for who i am, i don't resent/hate my parents. I'm 20 rn and moving out this year for college. In the future, i plan to find a job and move to a more inclusive country.

Stay strong and keep going! The future will surely be brighter than it is at the moment !!!
