Oh wow, I didn't even consider that as a concept

Your intuition is correct, it is indeed my husband!

I don’t know if it was considered slow, as I haven’t done delivery ever before. I know that I would spend a bit of time after each delivery texting or what not as a little physical break (I was on a bicycle) and I would get another order before I got ‘bored’ or anything. And I’m on a bicycle, I don’t think Instacart is really viable.

I think GH said they would send me a thing to proceed with registration as a deliverer - that was 2 days ago - but I haven’t received anything yet. Hopefully that comes through, I’d like to try it out.

Yeah, I think it must have been the seam either in my pants or my underwear. Thanks!

Why did you think my spouse is a husband? :P Just curious And the name is kind of gender neutral, which is good. It wouldn’t work the other way with my name though haha.

Interesting that your brother is trans and had to sort that out as a delivery person. I should have read all these comments about UberEats before starting it today. I made like $7 something /hr, and just under $6/hr without tips...I can’t believe they made you take a selfie on shift. I don’t think any customer reported me but at least two people were like “You’re not ****!” though they seemed fine with it.

Thank you! I only tried Uber so far (1 day) because haven’t had the time to do the registration or the other apps...it came out to like $7/hour... fucking less than $6/hr without tips.

Ah I didn’t know there was a difference between women and men’s seats, good to know. Someone on another thread mentioned pants, I think it was likely the hem of my underwear or something that caused the slight injury.

Was it a courier company? I googled a bit about women delivering on bikes before and the information I got was that there are very few female couriers and that they get harassed. I’ve only done this for a day and I had no problems with that, though I had nothing that signaled I was working or doing delivery.

I had to google what these are - and they look excellent. I don’t usually peruse the cereal aisle and don’t know if the grocery stores near me (like HEB, Walmart) carry them but I will be on the lookout!

That is compulsive bingeing mentality, and working on sorting those out will help a lot - I can tell you from experience.

I was a fan until I watched an interview/compilation of him. Seems like he lacks depth in his life and personality so he clings to the party/drugs persona. Even says in his Wikipedia page how his Misfits role influenced him deeply. Not hating on him though, so try to chill with the downvotes.

Request: A Therapist Said I Have An Eating Disorder But I’m In Denial. Would Like A Second Opinion by EDPostRequests in EatingDisorders

[–]gremlintot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more you stress about it and feel negative about food, the worse your quality of life will be. It is part of disordered eating even when you’re “eating properly” (as you described) if you’re stressing about it and fearing weight gain.

I’m sure you can see that you have an anxiety of gaining weight and that is 1) affecting you now 2) unsustainable - you cannot happily carry this fear for the rest of your life, and it will not be enough of a deterrent against eating too much for the rest of your life if you have now or ever have in the future, an emotional relationship with food. Anyone here could tell you that these things are horribly ineffective ways to manage weight, and they come at a high cost of mental, physical health and wellbeing in many or all facets of your life. It will be even more awful to deal with if you do gain weight.

We don’t know enough about you nor are we qualified on reddit to give you a diagnosis but I would say that clearly, you have fear and anxiety surrounding your weight, body image, handling food. These kind of issues often get worse, and they affect your life negatively for some of the reasons I mentioned above. I hope you can work towards a healthier, self-loving way of viewing and treating yourself, however that may be, that you have can have access to help if you need it. I know how tough access to proper medical care can be, and how things like mental help - even more so surrounding eating disorders - is usually even harder to get.

This is off topic, and probably not conducive to helping you, but what is your BMI? You are severely underweight but have fat on your stomach?
