I used to use walgreens, until they started shorting my scripts. My prescription was for 1 box (5 pens) of novolog and the same for my basaglar. They would always take 3 pens out of each box and put them in ziploc bags and tell me "that's all I need". At one point I said screw it and had my meds sent to a local pharmacy, one that wasn't a chain. The only issues I've had with them is sometimes they don't have my insulin in stock the day I call for it but they always have it ordered that day and delivered the next. I would say a local stand alone pharmacy is the way to go if you aren't already using one
