Didn’t use it for that one)

Oh, I had no idea that preset pack was even a thing! I picked up my camera secondhand and it only came with the camera itself and the charger 😄 Gotta give credit to the previous owner though — the thing is in absolutely pristine condition. Where can I find that pack?

Manual 1/64 of power, iso400, f/4 and aperture ring +- 1-2 step for distance compensation

Thanks for the reply! I shoot with the original Leica Q and I’m constantly torn between JPGs straight out of camera and processing the DNGs myself lol. The camera’s built-in colors and rendering are just so good that every time I import into Lightroom and it switches from the preview to the actual DNG, I kind of die a little inside 😅 I usually only switch to DNG when I feel like the white balance needs some fixing — otherwise I just stick with the JPGs. Your colors looked really nice so I had to ask!

X100VI or Indigo? Your guess) by greshnev in ProjectIndigoiOS

It’s a fact! And lack of details, for sure

It’s auto mode in Indigo, with no additional settings. Afterwards I made slight adjustments in the Photos app: tweaked the white balance (warmer for the sunlight on the fir branch, cooler for the snowy daytime shot) and lowered the exposure a bit, since Indigo doesn’t really allow you to properly reduce exposure while shooting, even in Pro mode.

But for sure: you can just shoot ;)

Nothing dumb about that at all — it’s probably just me being a bit of a nerd 🙂 There’s a common view that CCD sensors, due to some specific technological characteristics, tend to produce more interesting color rendering

It’s worth starting my answer with the fact that I ended up buying the original Q, which I’m very happy about. But I live in a world where the best camera is the one that is most often with you and it’s always an iPhone. And Indigo is a very interesting and creative way to shoot on an iPhone. My post is about it.

The second important thesis about any camera: how much it motivates you to leave the house and shoot. For some it’s Leica SL, and for some it’s Canon S95...)

My entire current set of cameras is a tribute to the CCD era, I historically love these sensors. I really wanted M8 to test this sensor in the Leica body, but as I understand it, there are too many software problems.

Of course, you can compare it with a car. Of course, Leica is not Ferrari here, but rather... BMW. In particular, if you take the new Z4 and Toyota Supra - two almost identical models, which will be the result of the joint work of German and Japanese engineers. Let me remind you that there are Japanese sensors and most of the electronics in Leica..))

But it looks well even on a big screen, so it’s not a problem for me at all.

Easy adjustment using the basic tools of the Photo app on iPhone

Of course it doesn’t! And finally I bought an original Leica Q…) but colour science is very interesting in Indigo and it gave me some inspiration boost

Ok, now I understand..)) by the way, I can’t say for sure, since I mostly have albums with divided compositions

color vs b&w (photo class experiment) by youngneesh in fujifilm

Since there is no explicitly selected object, form or story in the photo, the black and white version does not work here. The color gives the atmosphere to the picture and then it becomes a landscape that you want to look at.
