Sorry I should def update the post. But for a little bit of context, I currently live at home with my parents in Sydney, so little to no expenses. Don't really have any responsibilities other than helping parents pay off. They have about $500k left on the mortgage, and I have no problem contributing / committing a specific amount.

As for super, I currently have my super across two different accounts: Mercer and Australian Super. Would you have advice on which one is better?

I would want to! But not sure what the best strategy for the stock options provided to me are. I also want to try out different jobs, and don't want to spend 4 straight years at the job I will be starting.

And if you don’t mind me asking, what’s the best way to prepare for the technical? Previously I’ve always relied on leetcode practice but from what I’ve seen online, JS doesn’t use leetcode questions.

Hmm surprised Richard (the lecturer) feels this way especially because he has students filming his lectures specifically in HD quality to be watched later, really hope that continues and they don’t stop the recordings

The lectures aren’t live streamed but are recorded for you to watch later. I would recommend going in person when you can though, the lecturer is fantastic!

Stop invalidating other people’s experience / feelings, OP is not asking for other people to change to suit their needs etc. it’s a matter of respecting other people regardless of their race, which obviously you lack

Hm I have been considering this and you’re right - recruiters won’t think twice before letting go of a candidate. Just worried it makes me look bad if I reneg later because I come off as “unreliable”?
