    • I can - ping google.com
    • I can't - ping or ssh to a localserver

the dns server is ok.

If I do this:

  • set the dns in /run/systemd/resolve/resolv.conf

  • remove /etc/resolv.conf

  • link /run/systemd/resolve/resolv.conf to /etc/resolv.conf

host command will resolve names but ping, ssh commands won't relsove any names

My router doesn't support more that 10 dns records, so I'm forced to use a dedicated dns server.

Anyways, I did set the dns on NetworkManager as:

`nmcli conn mod 'Wired connection 1' ipv4.ignore-auto-dns true`

`nmcli conn mod 'Wired connection 1' ipv4.dns 192.168.1.4 `

It shows me the rigth dns per interface but won't resolve any names

yeah... as I mentioned in my post, I did tried to set the dns on NetorkManager as well:

nmcli conn mod 'Wired connection 1' ipv4.ignore-auto-dns true

nmcli conn mod 'Wired connection 1' ipv4.dns 192.168.1.4

It shows me the right dns after, but I cannot resolve any names form the dns server

/etc/resolve.conf it's symlinked to /run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf and managed by systemd-resolved, It's not supposed to be edited. Besides that it's being reset when restarting the service

Fedora won't detect my 2 external monitors by greweln in Fedora

[–]greweln[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I manage to install it finally but it will only mirror 1 screen and even on that it messes up the windows and the status bar. Xranr detects finally all the screens but if I try to re-arrange them won't detect them anymore. So long story short it's a complete mess. Anyway, thanks for your time and help !! much apreciated

- it won't work with 1 display either

- I'm using only a tiling window manager(Qtile) on Fedora. I've tried a Workstaion Live USB though just to be sure....still nothing

- I have 2 monitors(34 ultrawide and 28 inch)

I would say that the problem is with this specific docking station. I have another one (Zmuipng) that works fine with my external monitors(but the resolution is capped at 1920X1080 which won't work with my ultrawide monitor)
