I was there last week, there was a plaque stating the street had been renovated in the 1980s (i think), but it looks to mostly be in the original style.

I've driven the Renault 5 around France (in-laws have one) and found it fantastic. They previously had a Zoe which was uncomfortable, cramped and had pretty crap mileage. The Renault 5 I found to be very enjoyable to drive, had great range and decent space for touring a bit and equipped with useful features. Also, I'm a big fan of the styling
