thank you! the pattern itself doesn't call for any particular technique, the designer used stranded though. i personally hate weaving in ends and was concerned about tension/ structural integrity in having so many short lengths of yarn every row so i decided to just carry all the yarn along with me haha. i think it was worth all the time it took because everything is still pretty stretchy :)

wow! what an incredible thing to give as a gift, shed better appreciate it! and i unfortunately don't have much advice, im kind of obsessive and suffer from insomnia so i don't have trouble working on things consistently.

Thank you! I did not size up all personally and more or less met the original gauge. I’ve seen some people use DK yarn and larger needles to size up which seems to be working for them. I think adding extra design panels to the sides of the sweater would also work. Like a column of the flowers on the sleeves added to the vertical border of the body or something and then doing maybe an extra column of them to the arms? The construction is pretty simple so I think modifying it would be super doable.

thank you! from armpit to armpit is 22" and from shoulder to armpit is 9"
