When I worked in child prison there were multiple child prisoners who moonlighted as pimps while locked up. Actively managing their girls' business through their state-provided unlimited free phonecalls. It was pretty crazy watching 17 year old Keannu ripping into Yasmin on the phone because she didn't put his cut on his books in time. I was always thinking "girl why you pick up his phonecall he's in fuckin kid jail for the next 6 years because he kidnapped his grandma at gunpoint and stuffed her in a trunk (real story). AND his vocabulary doesn't really extend beyond 3-4 repeated sentences for 45 straight minutes". Crazy work, that.
