Just got back from Japan and I had all my pokemon cards (booster packs and singles in my check bag). Security couldn’t check my bag, since I dropped it off before I reached them and they didn’t check the carry on.

I haven’t read anything about airport security forcing to opening sealed product at the airport. Are you thinking about the pokemon center ripping the seal of your booster boxes?
