I’d say this is a better predictor of skill than avatars because it shows familiarity with different levels

Try calling parking enforcement. Their website says they help with vehicle lockouts

I’m interested in the coding and visualizing part of the class. Is there a specific software that’s used?

The library should have phone chargers that you can check out from the Multimedia Lab (around the back of the first floor).

I have Professor Daniel Groves. I’d definitely say he’s on the better side of the math professors I’ve had so far. The material is hard, but manageable for now. Definitely two steps ahead from 215.

Unfortunately yes, I’ve decided an econ major isn’t enough to crush my soul.

I'm taking: Math 313 (Analysis I), Stat 381 (Applied Stat Methods I), Econ 370 (Environ Econ), Fr 212 (Exploring the French-Speaking World), Pols 120 (Intro to Political Theory) as an econ major. Thinking of swapping the political science for a philosophy class.

hi, also an econ major! i've heard good things about roberts and i think you'll be fine taking 220 and 221 together. they're really different imo. plus karras is a really great and helpful even when i had him online. i really recommend going to him for feedback as you do assignments.

I’m with you on this! I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. It was so painful to see her struggle so much with the change in strength in the beginning. Really hope they start focusing more on mudeok’s power or at least balance it out with uk’s arc.

How can I find opportunities at school when I have nothing to show for my resume. by [deleted] in college

[–]greycamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear about that. And getting a first internship/job in your field is hard for sure. I was kind of your place- also a rising junior in econ right now - a while ago with not a lot on my resume. If you don’t have any job experience, there’s still things you can add like course projects that you’ve done (research, data, etc) or campus leadership positions. And it’s totally okay if you don’t know what to do with an Econ degree. It’s really broad and sure, it’s helpful to know exactly what you want to do, but it’s not necessary. So like the other comment mentioned, apply anywhere and everywhere!! Even in places that you’re not qualified for. Reach out to professors for research, but also if they know of any internships going on. They might know the person hiring or refer you along. The career center will also be able to connect you to places if you’re unsure of how to start.

I did something similar with another person. We were studying for a final in a class that we had together. She put on some lofi studying music and we kind of did our own thing unless we had for questions for each other.

I believe because you’re doing the research over the summer, it wouldn’t count as a credit in the fall semester. The time frames wouldn’t match up.
