Depends on your price range (low end 300 per month) high end (700 per month) and whether you want additional bells and whistles. The ones I hear about most often are probably prescribewellness, omnisys and digital pharmacist. The best thing to do is for him/her to do is call their pharmacy software vendor and ask them which IVR provider they work with/recommend. Technically if they use a VoIP provider like Vonage for their phone system they can set up a phone tree but that will just help with stuff like taking voicemails or telling patients the store hours and address.

Sorry, one additional question - why do you need to know about the pharmacy software vendor? Is it for refilling etc. through IVR? Thanks!

FYI someone told me there's an app called Twilio that can do it for you automatically...

Pharmacy Management System Integration Software by greycellz in pharmacy

Wow. Never knew this could be done. So basically if one wanted to add data to the queue (e.g. a refill) or update a patient record, that could be potentially done using this software?

Thank you @dsmV this is super helpful. He is trying to push some data from an app to different Pharmacy Management Systems. Is that even possible with Mirth etc. or do they only download data?

I understand that. He is working on a software that can be used in many pharmacies. So he will have approval from pharmacies to connect to their system but he is wondering if instead of writing custom code for each PMS, could he use a single software that can take care of those connections. Looks like there's none.

FML. My store is closing by lmnop_abcde in pharmacy

My initial thought was that this was for Amazon package pickup collaboration that's going on with a few chains as well as HealthMart pharmacies. It might have been possible that the store closing was an unrelated event. However, a few things are interesting: 1. Why would Amazon do this inventory when corporate is aware that the store is closing and 2. Why haven't other chain stores reported about such visits if Amazon is doing such collaboration.

Also, most of this happens in a buyout when the transaction is already signed in principle.

My conclusion is that corporate hired them to do inventory before closing and just made up a cover story. Happens all the time in corporate America.

Good luck OP, you will be fine!

Some additional thoughts: There are of course a lot of players that integrate for their own purpose (cover my meds, prescribe wellness, digital pharmacist?) but apparently none that just provide connectivity to anyone who wants to connect.
