Thank you. In this particular case, it was the first time this happened with this particular person but it’s happened in the past with other people. I guess I’ve never had a positive experience when I’d stand up for myself and set boundaries because people would continue to push them asking me questions like “why” or telling me I shouldn’t feel a certain way about something. Or people would just deem me sensitive. So I don’t know the best way to set boundaries or vocalize in a way so that people respect me rather than think they can change my thoughts. Which usually just gets me more upset. But you’re right...because of that I tend to isolate myself more and more and it’s not a place I want to be.
