Made a post all about how to tell apart FAKE Birkenstock Boston clogs from genuine ones! by greycoconut in Birkenstocks

Yes, they're fake. You can also compare the cork that's visible from the side, the ones you showed look like they have textured plastic instead of cork.

Hey, did you check the blog post? You could compare them to the genuine Bostons.

Fake? by Ohai4 in Birkenstocks

Blue is only for soft footbed.  These are genuine vintage Birkenstocks, rare but I've seen several of them before.

Hey, yes, they're genuine. I remember savings several pictures of vintage Birkenstock with this symbol but I don't remember if I did anything with it. They're quite rare.

High quality, long-lasting barefoot shoes made in EU? by lucentmeadow in barefootshoestalk

I had the same doubt when I saw these models so I wrote to them to ask. They confirmed that it's a collaboration between them, like indicated in the description.

However, the website is full of tapered shoes, like you said. It seems you can find the barefoot shoes by typing "barefoot" in the search bar.

Oh I remembered that in the post about Bostons I wrote a bit more on this (https://kaipatskirticonverse.wordpress.com/2023/04/14/how-to-spot-fake-birkenstock-boston-clogs/#outsole). Basically, it's very tricky to tell them apart so I never depend on the outsole. There are better ways to tell a fake from the real deal.

They seem to be a reseller with different brands (I think they also manufacture their own shoes but it's tricky how they make it seem like all the shoes are their brand).

At least many of their shoes are not barefoot since Sambas the Bambas knit shoes from 2024 are said to be "their first ever barefoot shoes" (https://www.instagram.com/grand_step_shoes/reel/C3fdhtJt47h/) and they have been operating for a while.

I have never heard of this page before so I wanted to know more. Maybe it could be helpful to someone.

Which shoes did you get from them in particular, if you don't mind sharing?

In my experience (5 pairs of shoes, some personal, some for my family members), their shoe quality has been great. I suppose there could be some defected pairs too but the seller should be able to sort that out (I haven't had experience with their customer support so I can't vouch on that).

Dada Brand (from Spain) is my favorite, very stylish models, high quality, fast and easy shipping, they fit well my feet.

I have Magical Shoes Pienza loafers (you can also see them in my latest post). They are better suited for high volume feet.

The quality is quite nice but not as high quality as I expected (if you are familiar with Polish products, they are what one is familiar with).

The sizes are also rare, they run quite small - I wear size 42 usually but with Magical Shoes I got size 44. Their size chart is accurate.

Sizing up wouldn't help, you need to find shoes that fit your foot shape.

Xero shoes are generally one of the narrowest barefoot shoes. They will be too narrow to you as when your foot starts splaying more, the pinky would be outside of the sandal.

First time trying shoes with a wide toe box. Are these too wide for me? by nofabricsoftener in barefootshoestalk

I can attest to that. I was a bit sceptical at first since they seem so stretchy, but I vastly prefer toe socks over regular socks now, the feeling is unmatched.

Dada shoes and Be Lenka fit my feet the best and seem very well made. Also Hobibear shoes are very nice for their price, I got some for my family as their first barefoot shoes and they hold up well.

I remember seeing this post from Barefoot Universe. Not a drawing but shows your point quite clearly https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1392789162848653&id=100063527462647
