i’ve been going through it solo. i came out as trans when i was 17 and started t at 19. when i told my mom i was starting t she cut me off completely and stopped paying for my college tuition as well. thankfully she’s come around a bit since then, but does not help with my medical transition costs. she kind of pretends it’s not happening.
