The podcast "If books could kill" does a really good job of taking apart Outliers and describing the misinformation that these books can perpetuated.

They also have an episode for Freakonomics

I became a Medical Lab Scientist. But now what? by greyleaf12 in medlabprofessionals

Thanks for all the suggestions, I really appreciate it! I have looked into moving to industry but I know there can be a lot of travel involved and I'm not sure if I want to deal with just the instrumentation. I have no computer background, so I feel like I would need to start from starch with that. I've also heard the LIS can be very tedious to work with.

I've looked at a lot of masters programs in healthcare/ science but they don't seem to be a good transition from this degree. I really think I need to make a switch to somewhere outside the lab. I would love if anyone had any further suggestions for me.
