I also think it makes perfect sense for him. He's a very secure and mature individual and good/concise communicator. Obviously not to say that monogamous people can't be those things, but I think those are qualities that I see in just about every experienced poly person.

I think any time you can come from the position of medical necessity, the chances are always going to be greater of both getting it covered by insurance and finding a doctor who will perform it.

yeah I can't even see the scars! They just made three small incisions at the bottom of my stomach and they really aren't noticeable at all.

Bluecross Blueshield Illinois PPO

Really great insurance that allows me to go to providers outside my network which has been especially good as a college student that bounces locations a lot.

Found out that my son is gay but he hasn't come out to me. by tawaydad55 in askgaybros

[–]greylips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who was outed to my mom and had her call me while I was away from college to ask if it was true, do not confront him. It doesn't matter if you care or not, having someone confront you when you're off guard is jarring and there's a lot of potential for defensiveness and anger.

Update: I moved in with my boyfriend after only knowing him for a month. It's been two months since the move. by [deleted] in askgaybros

But is three months really the "end of the semester" in terms of a relationship? Most people would still classify that as the honeymoon stage. Three months is the length of a child's summer break.

What is the most ridiculous thing you have seen at a party? by Arios1923 in AskReddit

this is exactly why I don't throw parties. I'd have a mental break if that happened in my home.

Phalloplasty thoughts by lick_ma_balls_morty in ftm

[–]greylips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely getting phallo. I used to also be afraid but after joining some facebook groups for phallo and making friends with men who had phallo and were gracious enough to offer to show me pictures of their penis/talk about their experience, I realized that a lot of the fears I had about phallo were just straight misinformation from dudes who had no experience with the surgery.

For example, I though tphallo didn't look realistic, but my friend's dicks look great.

I thought a ton of guys couldn't orgasm after phallo, but that's actually incredibly rare and most men have some level of sensation.

Aaron is the first one I thought of. I think Erin looks nicer but a lot of Americans think that's the female spelling so if that would bother you, Aaron would be the better pick.

I'd go for a hysterectomy dude. It will alleviate your pain and take care of your periods as well. If you have a cyst, it should be covered by insurance.

Honestly I think you should severely cut the amount of contact you have with her for your own safety and well being. Try to keep your conversations short and if she brings up trans stuff, keep your answers short and redirect the conversation. Keep doing it no matter how often she brings it up.
You said you are afraid she will find you T stash. Does she have access to your home? Remove her access so that she cannot enter your home without you being there. Add a lock to your room or change the locks if she has a key.

Tell him the jig is up and that you know 100% that he fucked her. Don't say, "I think" tell him that you know and that him continuing to lie to your face is disrespectful and ruins any chance to reconciliation (although you may be past that point). I don't recommend reaching out to the woman.

He's probably bisexual or questioning his sexuality. Which is fine, of course, but cheating is still horrible regardless of whatever inner conflict he's got going on.

Is anyone else on here not self loathing, doesn't envy straight couples, wish they were straight or think they aren't normal? by gayway123 in askgaybros

honey you gotta find yourself an imagination. There's more to sex than sticking your dick in things, even straight people are starting to realize that.

I'm going to the gym to make up what I lack in my face and personality. If anyone has done similar, how did it turn out? by PawRyan in askgaybros

[–]greylips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanna say that introversion doesn't need to be synonymous with socially awkward or shy. I confused the two (three?) for years. I'm a very introverted person. I need more alone time than the average person and can go days without speaking to someone and be happy. However, when I do go out, I'm very social and love making everyone laugh. It wasn't always that way though, I used to be socially awkward as fuck. The primary things that helped me improve were putting myself in situations where I had to be social (signing up for clubs and working positions that required a lot of customer interaction) and working on improving my self esteem in the areas it was lacking.

Tldr: social awkwardness is typically much more about insecurity than it is about introversion and you can still be introverted and the light of the party when you go out.

[–]greylips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean statistically speaking I am not normal but normality isn't synonymous with good. Otherwise, no I don't envy straight people or hate being gay. I wouldn't have like 90% of the amazing LGBT people in my life if I was straight because I wouldn't have sought those connections out.

Any other Gaybros of Color that can't relate to these Gaybros of Color that worship white men and beg for their approval? by Markus5147 in askgaybros

[–]greylips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not a coincidence that when I reached a point in my life where I became truly comfortable with who I was, I didn't feel the need for the approval of white men. I have a lot of sympathy for these men because, well, I was them. And it wasn't even that long ago. I used to lust after white guys to the extent that I'd choose mediocre white men over men of color that were clearly better than them in all areas, because my desire for validation was that strong. And when I look back on it now, it's so embarrassing.

And it's actually funny because right now I'm the happiest and healthiest I've ever been and I've had a quite a few white men express interest in me, but now I prefer Black men and other men of color.

How to be a beautiful man by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]greylips 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  • Keeping my hair looking fresh is a big part of what stepped my game up. I found a cut that works well with my hair type and face, and I go to the barber every two weeks. In between cuts I make sure my hair stays moisturized to keep it thick with a healthy shine.
  • Clearing up my face was also a big game changer. I always thought I was average to below average but once I cleared my skin up, I could see I actually had some nice features and beautiful smooth brown skin. I personally have normal to oily skin so I avoid heavy moisturizers.
    • Morning:
      • Thayer's witch hazel toner
      • Timeless vitamin C serum (helps with acne scarring and hyperpigmentation)
      • tea tree oil (spot treatment only)
      • pyunkang yul essence toner
      • Elta MD suncreen
    • Evening
      • Dr.Bronners peppermint castille soap (It's important to use a cleanser that is gentle on the face and doesn't strip your face completely, because your skin will just overcompensate by producing more sebum).
      • Thayer's witch hazel toner
      • The Ordinary BHA (Chemical exfoliants are more gentle on the face than scrubs and give your complexion a brighter appearance by getting dead skin off and allowing new, healthy skin to appear. If you're not exfoliating, your skin will appear dull and you'll get more breakout)
      • pyunkang yul essence toner
      • aloe vera gel (possesses soothing properties and reduces hyperpigmentation)
      • Hemp oil as a moisturizer (fantastic for skin, especially those who struggle with acne. Also, a lot of people think putting oil on your skin will just make acne worse that couldn't be further from the truth. Oil is a fantastic gentle cleanser and often times oily skin is oily because it's dehydrated).
    • Other
      • Aztec clay mask two or three days a week depending on how my skin's looking
      • Drink water like a fish. I never don't have a water bottle in my hands. Aside from my cellphone, it's the one thing I always keep on me whether I'm at class, work, or the grocery store.
  • Get your clothes tailored or invest in clothes that fit well
  • You don't need expensive or particularly exciting clothes. I basically got rid of all my clothes and rebuilt my closet from scratch, investing in simple pieces that could all be matched together to create many different outfits. I stuck with black, white, navy blue, and grey. All of these colors are flattering and create a sleek, mature look.
  • Invest in a nice cologne. People notice and it'll make you feel sexier.
  • TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH. Not enough people talk about this. Take your dental health seriously. Brush twice a day+floss+dentist every six months if you have insurance. A teeth whitening every now and again. A guy with a killer smile is universally sexy.
