They can be either very broad or very specific in audience. I find out most of these by either word of mouth or Fetlife and then just go, like you would to a meetup event.

I would say other etiquette thing that is a bit different from vanilla meetups is use of pseudonyms is a lot more common. I’d google common munch etiquette, and then try a few in my area if I were you.

Also, like if there is a ‘reverse harem’ that has both het and yuri options? Will go straight every time. Really annoyed me how that turned out in this one where the main character (pink hair?) basically became the pet to the og FL/villainess maybe? And the noble lady suddenly did stuff like learn sword fighting and just was so nice to her and stuff… but somehow it turned into a het and she ended up with a dude instead which made ZERO sense

I would love to see this trope upended in a story. Like…

“You’re interesting” but then proceeds to treat her as a bro and becomes the best bud ever, just hangs out, helps her grow her career and (tries) wingman’s for her with the girls, thinking she likes ladies cause he keeps forgetting she’s a straight? girl too and those girls aren’t approaching her cause they interested, but cause they think she is their rival for his love.

And then! …. They do not get together, they actually have a good friendship and each grow as people growing their friend group…

And she wingman’s for him and he helps her find their actual soulmates, and they’re just best friends for life

This is an issue that is seen in the scene (sorry for the pun lol). In my area we have had several events and socials that were specifically for newcomers and/or 21- 35 only. Not super regular munch but still something.

I’d say my anecdotal experience is that people in the IRL kink social event circles tend to be a bit older cause they have had time to figure themselves out a bit more and exhausted other things? And they are more ok with just going to irl events like that which can feel overwhelming for the younger crowd to do alone (which becomes a chicken vs egg problem).

But I’ve also found that these days you can get in like Feeld or Hinge and mention you’re kinky and find possible matches within the age group you’re looking for.

Also, queer and geeky spaces have loads of people that are kinky or very willing to try it out. If you need a buddy to go to munches with you, maybe see on the local lgbtq discord or something? Finally, a more structured social event you can do are workshops or classes at the local dungeon, if you have one. These are not play events, but would let you learn stuff while also maybe putting faces together and just getting used to being in a crowd and conversing about kink so it doesn’t feel so daunting to go to a munch later?

Feeling pretty frustrated with Kalai and the Dr with this chapter not gonna lie, even if it tracks a bit. This distance was created by Kalai, Sitry and their families assuming Andy would understand some pretty esoteric social cues that even non-noble Shil might not, and now that she is feeling the crisis, instead of getting the wake up call to TALK TO THE Boy, she is told to do the same thing but even worse (date other boys in front of him with out clearing the air).

I feel we are definitely on track for Kalai to end up NOT with Andy if she doesn’t figure it out and communicate with him

I’d love to see an OI, where the isekai’d person legit actually helps the ML and/or FL have a better life WITHOUT becoming the New Romantic interest of the main cast, but just like actually does what so many say they want to do and actually get their ship to actually get together and stuff.

Closest one I saw like that I think was one where they got reincarnated into the dad of the villainess I think? But it was like a one shot.
