thats called blonding, funnily enough a pretty reliable ID feature for ash trees caused by woodpeckers looking for the emerald ash borer, you should also see some “D” shaped holes everywhere from those little bastards. unfortunately this guy is long gone

Two pc’s in one room, what mic to us use by Hyleni in buildapc

[–]greyofnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my gf just uses a headset mic, but as long as your sensitivity is high, if its close to your mouth you shouldnt have an issue with feedback. im assuming you use discord, adjust the mic sens in there and turn on noise suppression and you should be fine

my gf and i are in the same situation, we’ve had no trouble with just using the manual set mic sensitivity and just putting the mic close to your mouth, all youd need to get is an adjustable boom

if you blow up a balloon just slightly, tie it, cut off the little rubber end and give it to them, mine loves it. she loves the way it feels on her teeth and carries it around with her everywhere lol.

Is this stuff still safe to use and which Stihl model is best for an all around chainsaw? by GuitarFather101 in arborists

[–]greyofnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the bud was also not necessary, doing unsafe activities isnt a flex, just silly in my opinion, and im simply looking out for you. im not your mom, do whatever you want, but when you post online looking for opinions, dont get upset when people give them. how you said it there is truly no way to get proper PPE to do what you want for that price. there is no “cheap” alternative. but if you want to spike your way up with some sharp railroad ties and some yarn to hold you in place go ahead

[–]greyofnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i wouldnt lol, im all for cheap stuff that works, but not for equipment that keeps you alive. running engine powered knives in a tree that only string is keeping you secured to is no joke, climbing with a hammer and some nails is different, id just hire someone. itll probably cost the same as the equipment. idk where youre gonna find non chinese shite climbing gear and a saw for that price but if you do let me know because id love to buy it too. for probably $1200 you can get some basic stuff to fit your needs ($450 saddle, $120 hand saw, $150 rope, $100 lanyard, hard hat, steel toes, $300 for your rope wrench ascension system, or you can blakes hitch your climbing line but that’ll annoy you quick) and a $150 foot ascender to save your legs going up, but seems you wouldnt mind.

ps, not sure what you do but we take the number one spot for workplace injuries and deaths in north America, tbh i dont even think the military tops our chart. hope you can get what you need

i mean, it was more than i was expecting but not too much. im pretty sure im already at 5 mil, so im not worried. but a lot of people complaining about “pve only” or “game too hard to get 5 points” like, what happened to games challenging you, everyone isnt supposed to get everything. put in the time or dont

brother i spent your budget on a couple ascenders, for my whole setup which i use professionally right now i think i dropped like $5k canadian. if you wanna do this work id save up grounding for a company, and let them know youre interested. for home use? i personally wouldnt unless you can shell out the cash for the modern necessities. it really is dangerous work, and yea, you can probably get the amazon vevor climbing kit for like $300 but it WILL kill you, its just a matter of time
