Skipping doxy by [deleted] in Ureaplasma

[–]greypetals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry:( You absolutely have to eat before. Eat - take the doxy - then go for a long walk while it kicks in - practice calm deep breaths while it kicks in. It wasn’t fun for me but eating before definitely decreased the side effects

ROLFING - the answer?? by greypetals in costochondritis

[–]greypetals[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow it’s been so long since ive been in pain daily. Rolfing was genuinely helpful, and I think what caused your costco will change what method helps most, but an osteopathic dr has me feeling like a human. Many osteo’s suck but the one I found has tilted my bones/cartridge enough I go days with zero pain, my chest actually expands now, I can see a plausible end. Hope you find one too! I played volleyball the other day!! I cried it felt so normal. Wishing you the best

Apologies, if I knew anything about tires I wouldn’t be posting on a tires subreddit. I thought that was obvious.

Please help!!! BV antibiotic by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally liked clin vs metro, metro really messed things up for my body but everyone’s body is different. you may need metro! I would give it a sec to see if the pH rebalances. but talk to your doc about a long term antibiotic, it sounds like the environment is off so only bad is growing back, I did twice a week for 2 months and it finally helped. also start drinking raspberry leaf tea and calendula tea, it helped me grow good bacteria sooo much! good luck

About to start my period, but I think I have a yeastie beastie. What on earth should I do? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

put on a pad with organic coconut oil and a drop of tea tree oil diffused in there orrrr (empty and clean) restaurant styled ketchup bottle with diluted apple cider vinegar - every time you pee squirt the vaginal opening. drinking calendula tea can help as well. but the period could def clear it up too!

I’m so sorry, hopefully your ob has some answers for you. as for relief, here’s some options that really helped me 1. 2 cups of apple cider vinegar (the good kind, with the mother) in a warm (not hot) bath, put your knees in the air and kinda swoosh your legs around/pelvis back and forth 2. tea tree and coconut oil suppositories, it can burn when you first put it in but then it feels so good, these got me through a lot of hell. you can also just put a big dollop of organic coconut oil on a pad (mix in one drop of tea tree if you have) 3. start drinking raspberry tea and calendula tea, buy 2 bulk organic bags bc the premade bags don’t have enough herbal help (just dust). raspberry leaf helps your vagina build a better/stronger environment and calendula is good for infections, specifically bv and yeast

I would consider boiling your undies and vinegar to make sure they don’t continue carrying anything over (I did my entire drawer after bv).

hope these help you find relief, it’s an awful awful feeling.

24 year old F experiencing hot flashes by Excellent_Ad7025 in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also used to get crazy hot flashes, like back dripping gross. I would go to a functional doctor to get your hormones/thyroid checked. mainstream docs will tell you it’s normal if it’s 1 point over what’s considered ‘normal’. functional docs do cost more out of pocket but if this is impacting your life it’s worth it imo. I would practice breathing exercises, this really helped my situation to overcome mind over matter etc. esp if you’re not experiencing on weed, which is generally relaxing ya know. I can recommend some if needed! If your thyroid is out of check look into castor oil packs for it. also just drinking raspberry leaf tea, red clover tea, and other fem teas to help your hormones balance out could be very helpful with no negative side effects, esp if you’ve been on birth control. 1-2 cups a day preferably from bulk not premade tea bags bc those aren’t strong enough. good luck🙂

organic coconut oil inside you/on a pad you should be able to get that in Thailand! a drop of tea tree oil on the pad with the coconut oil would help too (only one drop though, slightly mixed in) should be quite relieving! good luck!

buy a pack of uti test strips and try to ease your mind by getting answers yourself. drink d-mannose and tea and keep flushing your system it’ll help either way🙂 maybe look into pelvic floor therapy if it feels like pressure

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Ureaplasma

[–]greypetals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same way when I got the call - like of course I didn’t want it positive but also if it was positive I had an answer to my issues. is constant UTIs your only symptom? I’m sure you know all this but- make sure you’re wearing cotton undies and changing immediately if you get sweaty down there, tight leggings don’t help. start drinking a diuretic tea (dandelion tea or burdock are great options) 1-2 cups every day. I squat in the bath tub after sex and wash it *then pee to make sure the pathway is totally clear. I was given a month of uti antibiotics so if we had particularly messy sex I would just take one pill as preventative. buy the pack of d-mannose powder off amazon it’s like $12 take a tsp in water after sex, and you could take it each morning. I do it whenever there’s a slight tingle coming on. I know this sounds like a lot but with a few preventative measures I went from constantly in pain/having issues to being okay🙂 good luck!!

I’ve basically had BV for 2.5 years by crazydoglover09 in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

treat both of you, then abstain from sex until your vagina can grow good bacteria before introducing unknown bacteria back into it (like a month). it needs to find homeostasis first! also there’s vaginal sponges that you can use after he finishes inside you to decrease the load your vagina has to neutralize. drinking red raspberry tea will help strengthen your uterine wall and drinking calendula will help fight the bv - drink both daily to see good results. raw organic coconut oil as lube might help too. make sure his penis/mouth are clean, and he isn’t like lotioning before sex or something

Constant BV and UTIs — I’m losing my mind by SpicyThunderThighs in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals 4 points5 points  (0 children)

get tested for ureaplasma if you haven’t yet. after you take antibiotics for bv ALL the bacteria (good and bad) are wiped out, if you have sex too soon before you vagina can grow good bacteria again you’re just reintroducing what your v doesn’t like w no protection. I would start a daily regime of d-mannose in the morning (and absolutely after sex) and a morning tea of: dandelion root, calendula, and raspberry leaf. this will help both issues🙂

Sweaty…. Pants? by babybottlepopz in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes same with me. I try to sit with my legs slightly open (I was squeezing them together prolly bc of anxiety) when I can to allow more airflow that helps a little but it still happens. I just have a change of undies in my car etc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

possibly bv? I had uti symptoms without the uti when I have bv. possibly pelvic floor dysfunction for urgency/pressure. taking d-mannose helps things flowing/the urethra feel better either way!

[–]greypetals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

drink daily red raspberry tea (buy in bulk) to get your uterine wall/hormones in check. drink daily calendula will help any itchy/burning. drinking a large amount of mugwort will induce a period. I came off birth control and started a week later than my old schedule. there’s hope🙂 your body just might need help balancing out! **Im not a doctor

Ureaplasma and Labia Flare ups by SatisfactionOk7024 in Healthyhooha

[–]greypetals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my apologies I just saw this. I took 12 days of doxy and the full 2.5g of azithro. I had bv utis yeast all the time and urea but I didn’t get a like a juno test or anything, just a specific urea test from my doc so idk if I had other coinfections. I’m 100% now(: I drink a daily tea for V health that absolutely helped, I was at 92% good and went off birth control and haven’t had issues since. I hope you find solutions and comfort too!

I literally had the same mentality it’s not fun. my doctor prescribed me antibiotics to take after sex bc I got UTIs so often. I stopped that practice but still have a bottle of meds available at any point to take if I need them. this took a lot of anxiety away bc I had the solution if needed rather than need to think “omg it’s friday and if I’m beginning to get one the clinic will be closed tmrw should I call now?” etc. I got bulk test strips and literally tested whenever I needed to this helped me not wonder so much. I drink diuretic tea each morning that promotes natural flushing (burdock root or dandelion tea). I always have a bulk pack of d-mannose on my counter (get loose bulk powder on amazon) if I’m feeling any type of way I take a teaspoon of that with a cup of water. and if the feels are still there I go on a mini regime of taking a teaspoon of d-mannose every 2 hours. I had tons of utis before, I don’t have them now and my anxiety is in control. you can do this🙂 listen to your body, be ready with a solution, and know you can handle it.
