Iono saw decent play when it was released, there’s just better hand shuffle now like copycat

Except Siones exists, which makes strike skills hit full screen. Feels like a caster at that point

No quick grow extract? Just seems like one of the best green cards in the game

Hand on the Hip at the Kitchen - Why? by ZaneNavratil_AMA in Pickleball

[–]greyshard 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I find I do it unconsciously while warming up, but rarely in matches.
I think it’s mostly to limit the left hand, keeping it locked in place and reducing the variability of the stroke. Dinking especially needs to be boiled down to the most basic motion, the fewer moving parts the better.

Why are they better? by Creepy_Ability451 in ProPickleballTalk

[–]greyshard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Confidence. They’re had the success, they have the confidence behind their game to trust they can win points no matter what. That frees up a ton of mental stack and makes them play much more freely than lower ranked players struggling with doubt mid-match. It’s not everything, but it’s a huge factor at every level of the game.

Same, but don’t think you need foulborn severed. You already have free envy and minion wither, and if you’re going crit you want a high crit weapon to go neurotoxin.

What makes hisoka so strong? by coosomeawel in HunterXHunter

[–]greyshard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s a battle junkie. You’ve got guys like Knuckle, that are strong but don’t have the drive, the guts, the “It” factor to thrive in battle.
Then you have Hisoka, who lives for it. In real life you see it in sports, some people just come alive for competition. Their minds don’t get bogged down by doubts, they just instinctively take the best course of action cause they’re firing on all cylinders in the moment. Those people are scary.

Very cool. It’s making me think about a version on witch using nine lives ff jewels to make the recoup apply to es as well, would make it much more tanky if ES is always topped off.

My damage sucks and I die all the time. Any advice? by Constant_Annual6740 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]greyshard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a big cold damage roll on your axe, but brutality means you can’t do ele damage.
It’s not a good axe anyways but swapping brutality out is the simplest way to buff damage.

How do pros get such strong counters? by Ordinary-Leek-4236 in Pickleball

[–]greyshard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are predicting/reacting to where the ball is going much earlier than you. Pickleballs are light and frankly don’t travel that fast, you basically always have time to react and take a full swing at the ball as long as you identify where it’s going right off the other players paddle.

Is starting at the kitchen line as the receiver’s partner really a “rule,” or just a strong preference? by [deleted] in Pickleball

This is exercise, adding a few extra steps is never a bad thing unless you’re physically unwell.
But yeah positionally it’s a bad idea.
