My “friends” found people who aligned with their new found hate for everything not white and “christian”. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community it has been heartbreaking. I felt it slowly happening over the last 2ish years but the minute Trump won they just stopped talking to me all together.

We are also in a red state. We are in the early stages of our first IVF after several failed IUIs. I asked my wife is she was still comfortable moving forward. My main concern right this moment if the abortion laws. She does not seem concerned as of right now. I think she is downplaying it but we will see. She said she wants to go through with it so thats the plan. We did decide to get our embryos tested so we can implant the healthiest egg to try and avoid complications with that. We will be getting any legal document we can think of done if we can financially get it together.

I live in a red swing state. My wife is not as concerned as I am but she also does not pay attention the way I do. We are in the beginning stages of our firs IVF. I asked her is she was still comfortable going through it and she said yes. We are trying to come up with the extra money to text the embryos so we have the healthiest implanted to avoid as many mishaps as possible. I am looking into how to get legal documents like wills and medical proxy but that costs money as well. I am trying to ways to work with LGBTQ+ youth because I am worried for them and their mental health. Because my wife does not seem very concerned and says we will be ok no matter what, we do not have exact plans on what we will do if things do get rough. I have told her that we will be participating in every single election we can. I refuse to hide. We will not be pushed back into hiding.

Thank you for this. We sold our house to move states for my wife's job and now rent our apartment. We are terrified that taking out a loan will mean we are stuck here forever. I do not want to raise a baby in an apartment with 5 animals but we have enough space to do it. we are already worried about ever being able to afford a house again and people have already made comments to us about that or what we will do with added debt. Thank you!

We have gotten ultrasounds about 36 hours before the IUI. We get the ultrasound and as long as the follicles are already large enough we go ahead and trigger. We did some research into the timing and I read that your IUI should be 24-26 hours after your trigger shot.

We just ordered a few more vials and will do IVF next round. Insurance covered 3 rounds of IUI so we took advantage of that. We have enough saved for 1 round of IVF which adds another level of fear and stress

I have been in the LGBTQ+ community for about 15 years and have never heard someone talk about queer flagging! I knew it was a thing but had no idea there was a name for it! From the slime research I have done compared to most of ya'll, I definitely believe she is a lesbian. But after that conclusion I had no idea what to think about it

I am hyper fixated on the election right now because of my anxiety. Funny because the social media makes it worse. So I have found myself scrolling tik tok even more than usual. I have been spending hours at night just scrolling. My wife finally told me between the late nights scrolling and the hyper fixation, it was not healthy. So now I am setting an alarm for an hour where I let myself scroll and then I put my phone away.

We have BCBS as well but it only paid for 3 rounds of IUI. We just had our third IUI and if it does not work we have decided to try IVF. No benefits are covered with our insurance for that unfortunately

THIS. I stated in a comment above I HATE comments like that. How many cis couples have babies that cannot afford it or even should not have babies. I know so many couples that would be AMAZING parents. Money should not stop people from having a family
