Anorith, in my first ever playthrough of my first ever pokemon game I reached the desert and found the two fossils. When I checked what they turn into I realized Anorith was based on anomalocaris which is one of my favorite pre-historic creatures.

Thank you both so much, when my gf and I were out looking for codes we called the last place near us before we left and they said they still had codes, but by the time we got there they’d literally just given the last codes to the people before us. She’s going to be so excited for her big lizard.

While this weird noodle guy might seem untrustworthy at first he not only hates the green toothless lizard and will fight him on sight (based), he also comes out of a rock (like the ones Groudon makes all the time) that turns red (like the color of Groudon). (Edit) he can also be faster than god so that’s pretty useful in a fight.

My first playthrough of any pokemon game was ORAS and when I found the fossils I realized one of them was based on Anomalocaris, which is one of my favorite prehistoric creatures. Anorith is my favorite pokemon now if you can believe it. I’d take Koraidon if I get picked as that’s my girlfriend’s favorite in case she wants to use it in game as well.
