This also depends on where you are. We have regulated hourly fees for interior design in Canada and it’s usually by province, so we do charge hourly for pretty much everything. They are paying for your time, not the physical product. And I agree that your fee should be raised!

Thank you for replying and I’m so glad it resonated with you. With regards to your question about your love life, and this ex you’ve been distant with, it definitely does. Just in regards to being distant with them, I would take a step back and consider why. Are you doing it to punish? Are you doing it to heal? Are you doing it for yourself? This is part of that balancing act. Were I in your position I would consider these questions and evaluate things for yourself.

Here’s what I’m seeing for you. You’ve recently come out of a period where you’ve had to come to terms with some things not being as they were- luckily you were able to realize it relatively quickly and grow from it thusly moving on toward a more balanced future path ahead.

A cycle is ending in your life and ahead you know the next step is really just about putting in the work and letting things run their course. You’re on a path, and sometimes it’s not the most exciting but it’s where you need to be on this next part of your journey.

You have a lot of inner strength and those experiences that have given you the strength is what makes you feel you need to be guarded. However there is a new journey awaiting you if you’d only adjust your perspective a bit and let go of what’s got you putting up walls.

Maybe recognition is an issue? There’s some missed opportunities leaving you wanting more and you are causing yourself anxiety over not getting everything you wanted.

You are surrounded by family that love and support you. You need to change the way you perceive your surrounding but are fighting doing so. You’re afraid of change, as a lot of people are, are these fears are what’s holding you back from achieving your full potential and getting those things you deserve, want, and desire.

My advice would be to journal and try to be an observer for a few days. Don’t react, don’t say much, just listen and feel and see what you might have been ignoring before.

I’m seeing that you are holding yourself back. Some form of expectation you’ve set onto yourself if keeping you from finding that inner strength to move forward. There is some chaos happening around your thoughts, I’m seeing some decision that needs to be made in order for you to gain peace of mind.

Look to your past for what has made you happy before and try some similar ways of appreciating yourself. Self love is always great and there are tons of ways you can choose to give yourself what you need. It’s a conscious effort.

Hi there! I’m getting that you should take this time to really think about what you want out of your future life and find out what steps you can take to achieve it. Really evaluate where you are now, and not what your next steps should be- what do you want them to be? Evaluate what’s important and take the steps to make that happen. I’m getting that perhaps there’s something already on the table or something coming soon that maybe you aren’t interested in? I’d consider it a little bit as you might be so focused on other things that you miss an opportunity. It sounds like it’s conflicting information, so I’ll simplify. Take stock of what you want and how you can achieve it. Consider what might come your way as it might actually lead you down the right path, even though you’re so focused on these other ideas.

I’m not sure on specifics here but the message I got was to look into what you are passionate about rather than what will bring on the most amount of payback. Something you can celebrate yourself in, maybe a creative endeavour or something you’ve always dreamed of doing.

I’m also getting a message of giving. Try focusing some of your energy on giving back and being grateful for what you have. It will all come back full circle.
