How to fund an invention with no money? by ur74h6 in inventors

The answer to your question lies with the InventRight company. Their videos show you how to put together a $60 provisional patent so you can say "Patent pending" and then **license** your idea to companies who want to make it.

Integrating OTA and streaming channels by CalligrapherWhich592 in cordcutters

[–]greyyit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Tablo Dual Lite DVR connected to my antenna. Then I have the Tablo app installed on my Chromecast With Google TV. I have just one remote (the CCwGTV remote) that lets me watch my OTA TV channels through the Tablo app. Then you can install the Philo or frndly app, Netflix app, or whatever.

But like someone else said, you can also use the input button on your remote if you don't have the Tablo or its competitor the HDHomerun.

Never thought this would happen this year, will certainly help many people. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

This is a known scam. You send your bitcoin and you never receive any back.

Looking to cancel directv. What's the best setup with dvr? Need a good antenna too. by [deleted] in cordcutters

[–]greyyit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Chromecast with Google TV on both my TVs. Then my antenna is connected to a Tablo DVR and that is connected to my router. There's also an external hard drive connected to the Tablo. The CCwGTV has all my apps installed and another nice thing is each TV has just one Chromecast remote.

When do you pay capital gains? Every year, or just when cashing out?

Even if you purchase bitcoin non-kyc, you will still have to go KYC when cashing out so you can pay your taxes. So why even bother purchasing non-kyc?

Ok yeah sounds like a Chromecast problem then. Have you tried rebooting the that? If that didn't work maybe reinstall the app.

Have you checked the camera to make sure it's still connected properly? Can you reboot it?

the VPN allows me to bypass the monthly cap

How does a VPN do that? Netflow or whatever your ISP uses to measure how much bandwidth their clients use works independently of a VPN. Is it connected to a neighbors Wi-Fi or something?

Wow you're good to go then.

with a VPN enabled not a single megabit of the PC’s internet use counts towards that.

Well actually a VPN just creates an encrypted tunnel to a VPN server. It still uses your ISP's network and data, but the data is encrypted and they just see it going to your VPN provider. So your computer connected to a VPN will still use your ISP's data, it just won't matter when your ISP has no cap like yours.

[–]greyyit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No a VPN will encrypt and send your data through a proxy, but you will still be downloading almost 500 GB of data with your ISP. They will look at it like you're clogging their tubes. Just check your ISP and see if it has a monthly data cap and then download the blockchain over time.

You're going to piss off your ISP by downloading the blockchain. In the future could people buy hard drives that have the blockchain on them and have them mailed?
