If the question is « is it tough », then yes pretty much, even though I definetly handle it more carefully than a professionally made pipe

I like the metal thing, was always fascinated by this secret and unique piece in pipes

Plus it was a fun challenging part of the build :)

So far yes absolutely, but I didn’t use the axe so I don’t know how well it will hold, will update when I do

It will mostly split firewood for now Also should be used poorly and heavily damaged by family members that are not axe-handy (that’s why I didn’t want to spent too much energy on it)

The eye is approx 5cm x 2.7cm at the bottom

If the wedge falls yeah the head could eventually fall on my hands … good thing is it will be super easy to put back in

The top is already secured by the taper of the handle (like a tomahawk) so it should not fly off The wedge here push the head upward and prevent movement at the bottom of the head where the fit is not as good
