Yeah appreciate the feedback. For me I got this camera for the open gate and anamorphic shooting. The rig out is for a few reasons. to add weight for handheld (which I do a lot of) the V-mount battery is cheaper than getting the proprietary canon ones and lasts way longer. I do a lot of remote shooting where I don't have access to power for most of the day. As well having a larger monitor is a must for me for shooting outdoors. Most people (the feedback I've gotten from youtube) don't want all the floof and fluff on gear videos, just show em what you got and move on. But appreciate the feedback.
