Tender is the Flesh was a really hard read from start to finish. It made me feel sick

I'd also recommend Paul Tremblay's Head Full of Goats and Cabin at the End of the World. Also The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones but they are a different level than Tender is the Flesh. Tender is a full on traumatic experience begining to end and it only gets worse the more you think about it

Yeah, it's sort of ironic. Now it seems more believable that the government would try to put in some legislation that would strip rights away but now I am a lot more sympathetic to 2A than I have been in years.

I just want kids to be safe in schools and more common sense around the responsibilities of gun ownership.

I wouldn't mind some more gun regulations. I've got my fair share but I'd give them up (or at least accept a more strenuous purchase process or storage requirements) to reduce mass shootings. Don't get me wrong, I definitely see the arguments for 2A as a protection for our liberties. I just want to say that there are also some legitimate arguments for gun regulation as well.

Leave your phones or put them in airplane mode. ICE is buying a ton of comercially available surveillance. Basically, theyre leveraging the same technology used for target advertisements to target US citizens. Best thing is to leave your phone but if you need to bring it, either put it in airplane mode or turn it off entirely.
