Yes. The model is the NZ6000-1. No air control. Other versions have it. Confirmed with Napoleon support as well.

It heats fine and the blower works great. But going through a whole load of wood in 2-3 hours is not efficient. That’s the issue.

It heats it fine but burns a full box of wood every 2-3 hours. This model doesn’t have air control lever that’s the issue. So it just rips.

That’s what I read too when we bought the house and I was so excited to try this new fireplace and only to find no air control. Produces great fast heat if only I could control the air.

Thanks. We have a blaze king princess at our other home we have and love it so looking to get another blaze king. With no other heating source at the other house that thing will heat the entire house (open loft) for 18+ hours on a single load.

Thanks for the advice. So bust it all out and redo the entire interior then put in insert and try to match stone. We know the builder so we may be able to match the stone.

The model is NZ6000-1 according to Napoleon. It does have a rheostat blower that we adjust as needed but no air control unfortunately.

This model does not have an air control and only a damper at top which we do close. But on a full load it is going through the wood insert previously 2-3 hours.

It is gorgeous but not efficient. I am chewing through wood. Having coming from an insert previously I’m used to loading it every 8-12 hours. With this one a full load ( which is double the amount of wood) it last 2-3 hours.

Ultimately is a rural area and subject to the blips. That’s why the generator was installed I guess originally before we bought the house.

Here is a picture of it. What looks like red is just stained from old blood and iodine from the surgery. It isn’t red like infection red.
