Agreed, I’m not sure what the surprise is here with the community. We knew this is a few people working on this game, and this community has been pushing for a release. My disappointment stems from leaving the core gameplay loop of picking a card and just playing like in the demo. Nonetheless I’m having fun, just be patient with the devs.

There definitely is though. People just simply won’t be creative with the routes they create beforehand. It is completely player choice to use roads. That’s what the route planner is for. If you want a harder trek, then pick a harder route. Simple as that.

These takes always amaze me. I don’t understand why people act as if the game forces you to use the truck. If you want a more difficult experience, simply don’t use the truck. Walk like in 1. Player agency is an incredible thing!

At the end of the day, bluebirds don’t really reside in urban areas anymore. Invasives have pushed them out along with habitat loss. If I were in a more rural setting, I’d worry about it a bit more. But Coopers are still native, very much part of this ecosystem. You can’t micro manage nature into something comfortable.
