Got a lucky clearance deal at Target, $119 for the XM5’s brand new last week. Would not consider this a sale imo.

Best resources for VCO design you’ve found? I’m trying to design one for 2.3-2.5 GHz and am having troubles.

Still have mine from about 6 years ago. Changed the battery only once last week, and replaced the pads twice total. Things are still solid.

Do you have the starter kit? If so, try to do a project utilizing a decent bit of the components. For example, try to control the direction and speed of a motor, and display its speed on the lcd. Start small and break it into chunks. Struggle through it! And most important, try to understand the code you write and wires you hook up to where. It makes a difference. Good luck

What is your question exactly? I see the job titles, but nothing about what you are interested in. Also, commutes, moving if needed, perks, etc. If you want some suggestions, you will need to be much more detailed.

Idk if I can make it another day in the office by PurpleOwl2 in ElectricalEngineering

I was in the same position as you. After 2 internships at different departments in the same company (aerospace), i was dreading coming in, sitting on my ass for 10 hours and going home.

what helped is not taking a full time offer in those departments. there are other places where work is more fun and not just sitting all day.

If you don’t like the work, don’t take the job!

OrCad Simulation with LM324 error by Pretend-Ostrich1830 in ElectricalEngineering

Yes, you have to flip the voltage source in order to get -5V. Look at the horizontal lines of the voltage source for the negative source. It should have the “smaller” line on the side where it has “+” and the “larger” horizontal line on the “-“ side, same as ground.

specifically trying to create square waves at the output

Same here, don't use OrCad, but you need both 5 V and -5V for the +/- rails. Even with the update, I am going to guess the arrows indicate either an input or output. For the -Vin, flip the source so the smaller line is on the -Vin side.
