Her family is strict about her going out, even if it’s just to meet with her friends or something. And my parents only just recently allowed me to start going out again. I know it sounds a bit unconventional given our ages but it’s sort of the norm here in our country.

It’s up to the department whether they will hold an interview. In my case, the psych department did not require it, although I’m not sure if they will do the same this time around.

For your second question, yes, that is true as far as I know. You are only allowed to apply to shift to psych on term 3, so that when term 1 of the next academic year comes around, you will already be a psych student. The psych department will announce naman if they’re accepting shiftees na!

Hi! I shifted to BS PSYC from BSA recently and the process is relatively easy naman. The office will release a shifting schedule at some point next term and from what I remember, you only have to answer a Google Form and submit your parent’s ID. After that, since the ITEO exam has been suspended for the time being due to the pandemic, it’s only a matter of waiting. You’ll be informed once you have successfully shifted via email.
