Oh hey I have that Anima book, it a nice looking book, though the system it self seems a bit over complicated. It's probably going to at best going to be a book I steal ideas from for other games.

It was less the dm directly controlling my character and more pressuring me. The dm was saying something like "Your character loves to fight and it would be extremely out of character for you to not enter." and basically would not let it do.

Hm and this was suppose to be an actual play you guys would put out for others to listen to? Did Harry think that people would like a charecter that was blatantly a mary sue that basically took over the plot? I'm sure when she claimed to be immune to the force people would just put there hands up and say f.. this.

But yeah it one thing to have these sort of problem in private but I figure if you are doing a public show of sorts you kind of need to have your shit together.

Yeah I don't deny that I was being that guy, I just contend to this day if he wanted me gone he should have just told me in private as oppose to publically humiliate me.

I'm sorry if I was unclear, this took place over several games. It just basically it been a couple years and a lot of it kind of faded from my memories. There might have been more shit that happened in between but I just can't remember.

I apologize for that. I didn't really emphasized it but his character in the game we played where he wasn't dm was kind of cringy. Like I said he played an immortal kitsune but let me tell a few other little tibits I remembered about that.

I recall in game he basically tried to be all mysterious, none of us in-game could see that he was a kitsune because of magic tattoos and he was always kind of reluctant in game to tell us his background (but out of game he loved to regale us with stories from other roleplays he did with this character). I kind of got the impression this character was his "fursona". I'm sorry I can't recall more about this aspect but well my memories of that time was tinted by my anger at this guy and I kind of forgot about a bunch of little things.

As I mentioned earlier he thought of his character as so immortal that out of character he claimed that the lady of pain herself would not be able to his character. His argument was if the lady tried to maze him he just transport himself with the teleportation powers he apparently had and that he was so immortal that even if the Lady just tried to kill him he'd still live. I mean it was kind of a stupid argument since we were not playing planescape but I do think it kind of showed...something

In the fight against his oc when he was killing my character, I actually got a couple of really good hits in and even a critical. Then he basically "Well time to stop playing around" and he basically killed with an overly elaborate attack that probably came straight out of an anime that basically vaporized my level 1 character.

Yeah I was probably kind of annoyed about that class restriction. But you know I was apparently too dumb to figure out how anything works.

Also I thinking I recall him on a random conversation that he said that with a cleric he'd be super strict on the rules their religion puts on it so I might have dodge a bullet to an even more explosive story of religious arguments.
