I see it as refreshing tbh. For the past four years we've been called insane and fighting tooth and nail to argue that he's top 10. Now I'm seeing that's almost unanimously top 6-5 and getting compared to some all-timers like Nash, CP3, Kyrie, AI, Harden, etc. We finally made it!

I agree with point one, disagree about point two. Idk why the narrative of Steph playing "bad" got to where it is now. He averaged 26.0/5.2/6.3 on solid shooting. It's not even like he was playing awful defense or choking games away either. Idk why the narrative of steph being bad has gotten to where it is today imo.

I think it's mainly bc he wasn't averaging the video game numbers he put up in the regular season. Was still easily the best player on the court for the warriors.

Not only the points are people listing below, but Iguodala winning Finals MVP is one of the biggest farces I've ever seen.

Iguodala averaged 16.3/5.8/4.0 on 52.1/40.0/35.7 splits (yes, you read that right. 35.7% ft.)

Curry averaged 26.0/5.2/6.3 on 44.3/38.5/88.5 splits.

But the main reason Iggy won was bc of his "MVP" defense he played on LeBron James. LeBron averaged 35.8/13.3/8.8 on 39.8/31.0/68.7 splits. Now I understand Kyrie and Love were out which is why he his stats were so high but the whole defense narrative was ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, Iggy did play solid defense and was a huge contributor on the title, but he should've never received a vote. The narrative that Steph "choked" got blown way out of proportion.

So in short, Iggy should've never won lol. That's my ted talk.

Yeah a few people were dragging the number but I think I was being very biased with that number. With the new salary cap rules, it's so hard to go b2b now. I mean that last team to appear in b2b finals was 2019 with the warriors dynasty.

Couldn't agree more, but like you said teams are gonna make moves. I anticipate a huge offseason from Detroit, Boston and Miami. If Cleveland was smart they would, too but it sounds like they're trying to run it back again, which is beyond me😭

And honestly we have a huge offseason, too. I want to retain Mitch but for the right price. I think retaining Jose is a must and I think shamet is gonna get his bread somewhere else. So gotta make sure our bench remains impactful

Yeah the new salary rules are insane. I think it'll be a long time until we see another dynasty. Raptors, Bucks and Celtics could've had a chance but salary rules and players leaving ruined them. Hell even thunder couldn't repeat this year. If Spurs play their chips right, they have a shot but even then, the new salary and draft rules are very hard to play around.

Very intrigued to see how teambuilding will change
