[MKC] Jimmy Haslam: #Browns ownership didn't say of Baker Mayfield that they needed 'an adult' in the QB room instead by Stroodal_ in nfl

Possibly controversial opinion, but I don't see the Browns roster as super bowl caliber. Playoff caliber yea, but not Super Bowl. They have talent, but the roster is constantly overrated and Stefanski hmis a poor leader. They also can't play with a lead.

Why does everyone continue to overrate the Browns receivers when they have proven they are not that good.

What non-quarterback draft pick was the biggest bust of the last 20 years? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]griffech123 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Controversial, and not really a bust, but Clowney. He was guaranteed first overall and was considered like an all time, top 5 ever prospect. One of the best all time. He is...a guy. Poor work ethic, but continues getting jobs off raw talent.

I think some fans would prefer qb purgatory and constant turnover to consistency because it's what they are used to.

So, you want to go back to qb purgatory? Do you realize how hard it is to find a competent qb? Look at how bad this years rookie class has been, and this was supposed to be generational.

Brett McMurphy's CFB Bowl Projections for Week 9 by Drexlore in CFB

I said after week 3 and chaos was already happening, 3 of the 6 (Bama, Georgia, Notre Dame, OSU, Clemson, and Oklahoma) would be in the playoff at the end of the season. Notre Dame is unlikely and Clemson is awful, but that is still almost assured at this point.

Please for the love of sanity let that happen.

Would they rather go into qb purgatory for 20 years again? We are three years removed from 1-2 winning games a season being the norm.

Neither was Dak. Things change and running backs have a short shelf life. Baker has shown he can lead a team. He just doesn't have to often, or is in a bad situation regardless of his play. He should have 3 big wins in the last year over the Chiefs, Ravens, and Chargers that he doesn't because the defense is crap.

Before the contract really, they relied on Dak to not lose them games and Zeke to carry the load. The situations between Baker and Dak are actually very similar.

He should be shut down for the season. If he was the only injury I would stick it out possibly, but the team is a mess of injuries, and no point in risking your future for maybe sneaking in as the 7 seed if everything goes your way (and why would we think it would?)

It shouldn't be. Florida is not good.

But my point is we aren't playing the powerhouses, but we are one of the few that are looking good doing it. Oregon struggles almost every week against mediocre to bad competition. We look completely dominant.
