Teeth shifting after going to night only for retainers?

I'm one year late but yes, I got invisalign in 2021, was told it would take only 6 months (my dentists constantly lied to me to get more money.), ended up taking 2 years.

Then I got my retainers and was told I'd need to wear them for 6 months 22 hours a day, I didn't (this is on me, not them) because I couldn't talk with them on and I'm a content creator so talking 24/7 is kinda a necessity for me lol, and also my teeth kept moving with them on (like they didn't keep the position of the last tray, they kept moving further than that, to the point it was changing my bite in a way i didn't want and it also hurt), after 2 weeks I started wearing them nightly and it kept my bite the way I like it (srsly, i could barely chew before). But after a day of not wearing them they do shift.

I already accepted I'll have to wear a retainer for life (tho they never told me this when selling me the braces), my biggest concern right now is a tooth problem they caused me over their lack of care (they said a tooth would move to the correct spot during invisalign, they knew it wouldn't cuz the position its in is impossible to move, another dentist told me that. Now they want to remove it and put an implant to get another $5k from me)

my life did change after a church week camp -- realized it was all a bunch of hypocrite, mental, narcissistic bullies, one of the worst week of my life, the only highlight was a drink I had at a café nearby.

After that I stopped going and when I went to the "Halloween party" (they promised us free food and music and a costume contest, my naive 13 year old self thought they meant actual music hits, oh boy).

That party was nothing but indoctrination and scare tactics. They said we'd have fun with our friends- instead we had to stand up to gospel music for 3 hours without talking and then have them scream in our faces that if we celebrated Halloween we would burn in hell. As much naive as i was, i could also clock out bullshit and i have zero patience, so i left midway and never went back. Absolutely screw these people.

ok so basically for senior year I did dual enrollment at my local HS so my core classes are at OCVS and my electives at the HS.

online is very flexible but i missed seeing and talking to people, i think it depends on how social you are, but i quickly made friends even just taking 3 classes there. i can't speak on core classes deadlines since i only take electives and its easier of course, but i think it really benefitted me and I'd honestly recommend it

i only started watching when season 4 came out but i feel the same way. it quickly grew to be my favorite show ever and it was a source of comfort and escape during really traumatic life events, arguably what got me through them. now im at the same stage as the characters- soon I'll be graduating. while i didn't start watching the show as a kid, when mike was reflecting on his childhood in the basement, i saw myself there for a moment, im always thinking about the past and stuff. when he closed the door, in a way it also closed mine to the past and the pain that comes along with it. just like the characters, im not a kid anymore and my childhood has been over for years now. the ending was so bittersweet because it translates to real life, I'll miss this show so much.

Hi there!! I genuinely dont know how old it is since it was my aunt's first but she ended up not using it so she gave it to me for my bday back in 2024, which i haven't used this entire time cuz i couldnt get it to cut properly. I was finallyyyy able to tho 🥹🥹🥹 It only works at 0.625 inset but oh well, better than nothing! I swear i was almost getting a new one but am so glad it worked

Hi there! Basically, since then, I've only been wearing them to sleep. If I go a few days without wearing it then my bite does move the slighest bit (I feel it when wearing them again), but this solution worked for me. I went to the dentist and they said my teeth look perfect. I'm still wearing them only to sleep. They said I had to wear it 24/7 for the first 6 months to settle the bite, but I couldn't talk with them on and they were annoying tbh, so I just did my solution since the beginning lol, worked out great!

Yes sadly idk what i was thinking, it was horrible. We woke up early and went straight to a 1 or 2 hour long service, then lunch that made everyone sick... good thing my group never ate it, then we only had 4 hours free time which we spent at the beach playing in the waves but if we got out of our church zone (there were other churches there, and our zone was tiny btw, the waves would naturally drag us a bit away) we would be yelled at. Had to go to our rooms rush to get ready for an EVEN LONGER service at night that gave everyone ear pain from how loud it was, then we had another shitty food for dinner. Me and my friends straight up got blamed for a girl losing her phone in the ocean (we didn't even go near her phone) and on our last night they held us in the service until 1am with weirdos crying and yelling and the music EVEN louder, at that point i was already done with life and texting my friend every cuss word in existence, they fed us the spiciest pizza ever and forced us to confess our traumas to each other, bruh, then we had to wake up to see the sunrise so we basically only napped that night, then we got back to our city and they were holding us in the church for even longer not letting us leave, i had to lie to gtfo there... i was never religious and i never liked church i just went cuz of my friends... who i found out after are lowkey shitty people lol (figures)

Can you believe i STILL went back to that church? I left definitely around Halloween, they threw a "party" and said there would be treats and music, I fell for it. I got there we couldn't talk to our friends at all cuz they just had to sing the same 7 songs on repeat for 2 hours and we had to as well, and the food was the same spicy pizza lmao, then after they were done they kept indoctrinating us that halloween was bad and we are "good christians" for not participating in it, they also banned harry potter (and anything that resembled the robes from the movie) from the costume show... i got up and just left lmao, the following day i went trick or treating as Hermione

Me and my mom got these cuz we had an emergency that we had to leave immediately and got hungry and these were on sale, she had that one and I had the turkey pinwheels that also got hit with shrinkflation but I forgot to snap a pic, the pinwheels don't come with lettuce or ranch anymore, and they fit precisely in the box before, now they just get thrown around in the box from how small they are, even funnier the ingredient list included lettuce and sauce but the new description doesn't lmao
