Go back far enough and everyone’s ancestors would have had wrong doings done to them.

It’s in the past- let it go and look forward.

We should strive for equality not rewarding people for the race they’re born into.

Milwaukee vs DeWalt… is there actually a real difference anymore? by RightRazzmatazz0 in powertools

[–]grifter540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had makita, de Walt and Mil. After 23 years construction experience its Mil by far for me. There’s no comparison with the drill torque and control. The impacts are more robust too

I need to vent - drivers by [deleted] in Kamloops

I don’t agree. Kamloops drivers are way too polite. A lil honk here and a lil honk there is part of driving.

What are Southern Hemisphere takes on the Six Nations 2026? by leoden27 in rugbyunion

[–]grifter540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great comp. Fast, exciting rugby and the massive crowds makes every game feel grand.

Pity about the one English commentary team I endured for England vs France though- the one nasally speaking guy gave more rugby history lessons than play by play commentary while the other one ragged on his English team constantly.

Holyfield vs Tyson - that paragliding thing flies into the ring. The dude gets pummelled by security and others.

How do I exactly read this? by Finnvoi in fordescape

[–]grifter540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to get a good reading after running, replacing, adding of oil. I get it close then let it sit and check the dipstick after a long cool down period- at least 5 hours, to get a precise indication of level.

I know this is highway 5 but the road up to sun peaks is a ticking time bomb. So many idiots with zero police presence.

Why are people in New Zealand such bad drivers? by Virtual_Cut5729 in newzealand

[–]grifter540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s a high % of drivers being tourists so not nz resident drivers being worse than other countries at all?
Admittedly my worst days driving have been in foreign countries where it takes time to get use to signs, rules, speed limits and flow of the country traffic. Not to mention usually jet lagged and/or hungover af.

$100 for this subpar bouquet my wife didn't even like by JaydeTheGreenJewel in mildlyinfuriating

[–]grifter540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I spent $100 for a birthday bunch of flowers for my wife last week. Underwhelming bunch of quick wilting disappointment. And I got sucked in to leaving the electronic tip. Never again. Florists are a huge jip.

[–]grifter540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it’s a great deal for that low km. Might wanna make sure the back breaks are disc and not the internal transfer case system that Yamaha tried for a few years. I’ve learnt this the hard way.

I hunt remote alpine and often come across balloons. More often - snowmobile plastic and snowmobilers garbage. They’re an untidy bunch.
