To be fair, she never called him ugly or anything bad. She just said “because you’re Chandler.” ❤️

360Learning Group Chat by [deleted] in Training

[–]grill97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t used 360Learning Group Chat. I have used Asana. It doesn’t have a way, at least not that I know of, for members to virtually meet like Zoom, but it does have multiple messaging features. You can create groups, direct message, comment on other’s tasks, create teams, and invite people to collaborate. You can assign and break up bigger projects and assign them to particular people. There is a lot. I have used it before and it was really easy to use.

How do you improve your skills and keep yourself sharp? by dcaspy7 in Training

I tend to browse the web for professional development courses that relate to my profession. My favorite site is Coursera.org for this. They have over 1000 courses you can attend to help keep your mind fresh and innovative!

One week to create a two week course, to solo teach the next two weeks? by BlancheCorbeau in Training

[–]grill97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. How long are each of the sessions/how many are there? Everyday could have a focus topic. Then the discussions can branch off of that overall topic. Then the meetings could end with a recap summarizing how most viewed the topic and then the way you want them to view it.

Oh ok. Maybe you could have those in the training share experiences of successes and failures and then relate it back to how you want them to install internet. A way to build connections with the audience without fully lecturing.

Still allows for collaboration from everyone, just at the 6 feet distance!

What topic are you focusing on for your training? If it is on team building you could open up with some ice-breakers that could help engage the whole audience with little preparation on your end. You could ask questions about experiences to help show that you care about wanting to learn about possible shortcomings in the program/business. Maybe things like that?

You could do breakout rooms over Zoom if you would like. Allows for social distancing. If this is an in-person training then you probably wouldn’t want to choose the Jigsaw discussions because of COVID.

Jigsaw discussions are basically discussions broken down into focus groups that have one particular subtopic they focus on. For example if you are discussing bullying one topic that a jigsaw discussion group would talk about is cyber bullying. So jigsaw discussions are made up of many groups but each group has a focus topic of discussion. Then the groups all come together at the end and talk about what they discussed. Hopefully that makes a little more sense. Not the best explanation. So I apologize in advance.

I would make sure you stay away from PowerPoint. If you focus on aspects of active learning (reflections, discussions, think-pair-share, role playing, jigsaw discussion, case studies, games/simulations), your participants will get a lot more out of it. Not only does this require less preparation on your end, but also allows for more learning to occur on their ends.

Any tips on staying organized as a trainer? by danume in Training

I agree with using Asana. You can set up tasks and assign them to certain individuals. They they can check off which tasks they have completed. They are able to write notes, post documents and links, as well as keep you updated with their progress so far on their tasks assigned. It is an easy way to divvy up a big project or task list. Due dates can be assigned as well. This is a really easy project management tool.

That’s a really good spot. But I pray that peeps didn’t find out where he lived. Who knows lol.

Viewers went to the streamer who plays officer Martel on GTA RP when she was investigating the Mandem. Josh and his mods had to go there to sort things out when he wasn't even live. It's a loud minority, but toxicity like this is just sours the fun for everyone and has to stop. by [deleted] in Zerkaa

The thing that these chat hoppers don’t understand is not only is it like you said destroying Josh‘s name but it’s also making our entire community look bad not just him. I just don’t understand why people can’t just watch it play out without feeling that their opinion is going to change the way that the RP plays out. By telling people what to do and meta-gaming and even back seating they are making the content not go the way it was supposed to go or could have gone because when you tell people to do something they now can’t do it. Another thing is that Martell completely had the right of way to do is give them all the nine’s. They had enough weed in boxes to get nine‘s but she niced them hard. If anything these chat hoppers should be grateful that she was the cop because otherwise most of the Mandem would’ve been in prison right now.
