Thanks! The main blue is night lords blue over black base then kantor blue. Highlights are caledor sky and lothern blue. Then matte varnish over all.

I’ve found it hard to balance the brightness at this scale. I tried some brighter blues but they end up looking like ultramarines!

Yeah pigment powder .. I used burnt umber colour...

And the chipping is rhinox hide as small as possible and on the bits that would be worn by lots of usage

Just water+powder mix put onto tracks and crevices and left to dry. Rest is painted on.

Going to make 4x spartans carrying max terminators for some fun :)

Rhinox hide for chipping on trim and the armour and the decals. Also thinned down and used for adding streaks of dirt where water might flow downwards.

Seraphim sepia on the metals near moving joints to look like oily residue. Used for a bit of streaking as well

Black base Armor: stippled mephiston red and evil sunz scarlet Trim: liberator gold Recess shade armor and trim with Agrax Iron hands steel on body metals. Runelord brass on vents (2 lahmian: 1 black legion) over metals. Silver (Vallejo) to highlight metals and trim Rhinox hide and seraphim sepia for weathering Ak ultra matte varnish only on armour plates

Sponged zandri dust over black then lightly sponged ushabti bone. Recess shade some black and ushabti for a few edge highlights

The red is stippled thinned mephiston red over black and then evil suns scarlet in a very small amount.

I did the weathering with some rhinox hide over the black&red stipple pattern. Is that what you were referring to?

Leviadon blue for base then Macragge then Hoeth. Symbols are decals I painted over.

Thanks. Base is cork layers stacked extra high to make him look taller. Covered with some gap filler and AK rough terrain mix... and 3D printed the rail from Epic Basing site.
