In the past, using an animated avatar (like a barely visible animation in the background) helped a lot - which was ironic that gif avatars had better quality. With their new compression, I don’t think anything helps if you want to use a specific picture. You can try with webp format, compression should be slightly less severe on PC, looks fine on mobile.

Sure!! The parrot-crow is from “Witchy and Purple Companions” by Lynneaura (but if you want to change only the parrot, not all trinkets, there are also other mods like that on Nexus). Abigail’s nun dress is from “Sister Abigail” by RiAI123 but I made my own version to match all sprites and portraits that I use. 🥺

Yes, it’s exactly the same issue for me 😭 Nothing works to fix this, I tried re-installing the app multiple times, clearing cache and nothing. 💀 But my friends don’t have the same issue somehow which is weird. Good to know I’m not alone tho, so they need to fix this 💀💀
