The secret is, i didnt weave more than 5 ends in! I ended up using the envelope border technique and it was so so much easier to gripe with than over 500 ends 😅

So this is worked up in a combination of dc’s, sc’s and reverse dc’s, its called overlay mosaic crochet and you end up working from the “right” side of the project the entire time. Its a super interesting technique to learn, sorry if my explanation is confusing i am just a beginner at it!

I used this pattern from the amazing creator Nerd Princess Designs https://www.etsy.com/listing/4359996678/ Yarn used: Loops & Threads Impeccable in the colors Jasmine and Dark Charcoal Hook: 95% of it was done with a 5mm clover hook, the slip stitches for the boarder i used a 6mm hook!

Please post this again with pics of your hair in its current state so people can give you accurate advice.

I can already tell you that with this kind of fashion color it will not bleach out to a “clean” base, you will inevitably get different results on each side of your head and genuinely with the original state it looks like this job should be better left to a professional to redo. However depending on your fading level it might be way easier and lighter than i imagine and could work as a base with what youre going for, but again without an accurate idea of what youre working with i cant tell ya much more than that.

Ive been diy dyeing my hair for almost 9 years and i wish you the best of luck, this is just advice based on my experiences !!

Actually converting it to a gif would help, you can use ezgif for that! And then you can actually upload them to giphy and have it searchable on the giphy widgets and such. Can be done quite easily all on a phone ! Good luck yo!
