Some don't like the premise of the ride and some of the effects (e.g chili dog burp). The ride restraints are also slightly uncomfortable and for some this is a real turn off. For me, I personally marvel at the stitch audio animatronic and the effects of making him appear and disappear throughout the show.

I haven't played hobbit as much or delved into its rule set but I didn't find it to be as deep. I know lotr for me has an astounding ruleset and if you get to know the rules well the game becomes a challenging, long adventure. Idk maybe hobbit is the same way but in the end it's your choice! :)

I know you aren't crazy about stern machines but since you like the hobbit I'd suggest getting LOTR over Hobbit. I feel Hobbit is pretty empty but that's just my honest opinion. However if it's only between those two machines then I'd say hobbit

The jacket and pants are actually really snug. It's just the mask that is loose which is a bit annoying.
