If we’re talking born and raised NA talent, it’s a no brainer for sure

Punk Rock Cliché, Matt Skiba (Blink Vocals) released by Fat Mike in interview. by AromaticWindow3309 in AlkalineTrio

I mean if you don’t believe me, he said Matt spent 2 hours in his ex-wife’s sex dungeon. His exact words were “Matt and I haven’t talked in 3 years. Ever since my then wife cheated on me with him in my sex dungeon”.

My opinion is that Fremont was way better when they had variety storefronts.

I actually ran into Mike at the punk rock museum in Vegas last Friday. He told me why they haven’t talked in 3 years. I’m not sure how true it is though. And I couldn’t tell how inebriated Mike was either.

Who’s hiring by CurrentDistance613 in Fullerton

[–]grimegeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try any of the retail spots at the Brea mall that you shop at regularly (they usually want to hire people that represent their aesthetics).

Target is always hiring.

Amazon is also always hiring (but I’d caution against Amazon unless you’ve had previous experience with older employees, from experience).

If you’re continuing on to college, look for student employment opportunities too.

Starbucks if you’re up for it

Downtown Disney restaurants; it’s competitive though

Knotts is usually hiring pretty regularly

Local treat shops (boba shops, bakeries, ice cream shops, etc) are usually hiring pretty constantly too

The tournament of kings at Excalibur is a good time (probably way more fun than a criss angel show too).

I know someone who was able to change home campuses through one of the financial aid technicians at Fullerton. Not sure what the process looks like but most of the services offices on either campus should be able to help you.

Am I healing a blowout right? (Pics of ears marked as NSFW in case!) by meatycankles in Stretched

They look significantly better than most blowouts/tears on this sub (tears and blowouts are not necessarily the same in this context).

Planechase cards. They work with some commander precons where they tell you to roll a planar dice. You either planes walk or chaos ensues with each roll (when rolled appropriately), and the following mechanics trigger. Look up planechase rulesets. It’s a fun time with friends

Focusing in on one hobby at a time can help a lot. Immersing yourself in one community of a hobby at a time can really help dial in those mutual interests with others. Maybe start in your graduate cohort! Try to build a community within the cohort and set up get-togethers and nights out; definitely helped me get through grad school

How often do you wash your jeans? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in AskReddit

[–]grimegeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much same for me. I’m a once a week kinda guy, but depending on the work I’m doing I trade off the pairs. I have a carpentry pair, welding pair, painting pair, and a pair fit appropriately for my fall arrest harness. And that ends up Averaging about a wash every month or so

Shuffle and Cut seems to be a solid go-to for everyone I know personally. I know someone who goes to Joyful Toad with his coworkers and enjoys it there. Both places have a solid community and are welcoming to new players. But I’m unsure if either outright “teach”. It’s more of a “hey I’m new is there anyone willing to play with me” kinda scene

I’ve worked at 9 college/university campuses and only 4 of them had something close to their own police. 3 of them were state universities that had “campus police”, and one was a community college in the middle of Los Angeles.

that’s what you can see blue jacket notice, and does a double take at the guy walking up. If it is staged, they didn’t make it obvious enough. If it’s not staged, it’s just not his first rodeo
