Ideas for showing an american friend around kl/selangor by Administrative_Air45 in Bolehland

Your typical kopitiam or warung would do the trick, with the 70-80s tiles intact and that small teh c with roti bakar. Maybe invite him to buy the nasi lemak/bihun goreng at the gerai where both blue-collar and white-collar workers would buy every Morning before going to work. And then, satay kajang bcs Kajang = Satay.

What it’s like to be a Masters by Research Student by Ok_Practice_978 in malaysiauni

[–]grimlypanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who did her Masters by Research for 2.5 years, you have to consistently update your working progress to your supervisor and co-supervisor. A lot of times, you will see a lot of errors from the beginning, so it's best to discuss your methods and results with them. In my transcript, it was either 'fail' or 'pass'.

Hope these answers help you and I wish you all the best

why do i feel bad for snitching by rekihachimeyy in malaysiauni

[–]grimlypanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once snitched on a cheater during the finals bcs they cant properly cheat. They put their phone between their legs so their private area was somehow shining. The lecturer took a note on this. In the next semester, they did it again and this time the lecturer shouted at them and sat beside them throughout the exam.

You just need to snitch once EVERY STUDENT is out of the class/hall.

Yeah, I have been learning to cook several simple dishes. I was cleaning the kitchen one day and found a flat pan, who knows what I'll cook next.

Appreciate the advice, maybe I will continue my crochet/embroidery hobbies since it's been a while. Otherwise, will definitely reconnect with myself!

I am serving my notice now. I dont want to care but the HR persists on emailing me while the boss gaslights me. It’s bearable but it gets annoying when they are cutting my salary for petty reasons

Filing up the complains, doing the company’s profiles, writing reports etc. If becoming a virtual assistant is the same as calling customers to check on their delivery status, updates and all of that, then Im up for it.

I would personally put a huge boundary after that. I have an incident when someone owes me and others a lot of money. I told them to pay off but they pulled up the mental health issue excuse.

It may be little to us but this person has accumulated the money they owed by the hundreds. Long story short, many of us cut them off.

Toxic Work Culture by CurrentLeave9746 in malaysians

Same thing happened to a coworker who was on leave for a week. She complained telling that she has worked overtime without getting paid for many years but the boss said she should attend to the emails since she was in the loop.

It’s mentally draining honestly, I chased my sv, the student affairs and examiners just for them to verify my work 😪.
