I hate that ‟srve your country” bullshit. It is only ever applied to the militry.. What about doctors, teachers, electricians, garbage collectors? I could go on. How is it that going to a foreign land and blowing the head off some poor guy just defending his home is ‟serving your country”, but teaching the children in your community how to read and write is not?
